119997Photo #119997Beechcroft Road runs parallel to A214 Trinity Road, a busy through route between Fulham/Chelsea and Wandsworth/Tooting/ Streatham. Drivers wishing to avoid long lines of traffic on Trinity Road often use the parallel route. However it is also busy with pedestrians and cyclists on their way to and from the open space of Wandsworth Common. The pavements are narrow and cars are permitted to park on them. Social distancing is difficult without stepping into the road. If motor traffic were kept to Trinity Road non-motorists would be able to use Beechcroft with appropriate distancing, less pollution and less stress.Temporary closure:

The area in front of Brandelhow school would benefit from traffic calming (such as planters?) to stop it being used as a thoroughfare and reduce speed of cars and motorcycles (incl delivery drivers!).Cycleway:

110987Photo #110987Cycle parking outside of school gates to provide parents with facility to park their bikes for drop off/pick up. Currently the cycle parkings are on main, busy road. Those are commonly used as there are shops/gym next to it and are too close to main road to use those having small children in tow.

The cycle stands next to school ideally should accommodate cargo bikes as hopefully more and more parents switch to active mode of travel. Last year our school took part is Sustrans Cycle to school challenge and was welcomed by parents. Parking facility should acceleraye their switch to active trips.
